I researched JRJI (Jesuit Restorative Justice Initiative), which has the goal of restorative justice for inmates in our prison systems.  Many of the inmates have similar backgrounds to immigrants, who need asylum. These individuals are treated like property and not humans. If there was the opportunity to listen to their stories, with respect...

In my area, there is a lot of local food availabl, even beef, pork, eggs, and fish. It's all very expensive and the farms cannot directly accept food stamps, although you can get some food stamps tokens at the farmer's market. So, less expensive foods.

I couldn't afford to eat only locally. I can get most of what I want, I just can't afford it.
