  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Action Track: Justice for the Whole Community Reduce Single-Use Disposables

I stop taking utensils from my carry outs when I'm at home I just use one of my forks. I recycle the plastic bags for my church food ministry. I No longer use straws at all. Well, OK except when I'm driving. I take no carryout condiment packs when I'm at home. You have to start somewhere. Just get started being more aware of your own choices. Good Luck,

I'm most proud of investigating Food, Voting Rights  & Racial documentaries to view and support people all of the world status. Now I can spread the word to look into these things and see how you can support them.

The challenge is going pretty good for me.  I have learned so much and things I am going to definitely implement in my everyday routine.

Nope, Not difficult at all.  Especially since studying nutrition and watching documentaries like The Game Changers Official Film Website | Documentary (gamechangersmovie.com).  Though salmon and tuna are still not safe around me

Last Saturday a few (3) people came to my door for a survey about absentee voting. I'm personal a HUGE fan of this process. It comes in the mail, I vote and then I drop it on the local voting box outside of my civic center offices. Their questions included. Had I been sent enough information on candidates and proposals on the current ballot?  Did I get my ballot in enough time to vote? Was the ballot open or closed or used before I open it? Were the instructions to vote clearly written? How it did I return it? I answered all the questions and thank them for even caring! I was very pleased that in the city in Michigan were I live someone was surveying vote restrictions and or issues of any kind. This was a first for me.  People are caring more and more and we are accountable to each other. Again, Do your part and watch what a differences it making! Good Luck.

----- Life MATTERS! Fill in the blank how you see fit. Everyone has to yes,  I stated EVERYBODY has to no matter how you identify do your part. Most and I stand by most of us leave to other people to save the earth. Awareness is all of our responsibility. Is life really meant for all of us to separate ourselves with titles? Or are we all human being which should be treated with respect and dignity and come together to save our plant? Tell me what you think?

How is planting trees good for your mental, physical, and spiritual health?

I feel that every time a tree is replaced that was taken, more balance is given to this earth. I do virtual challenges for walking/running/bicycling and each challenge I do, and hit a 20% completion, they plant a tree as a part of the reward. Most of these trees are planted in Africa in places where trees were removed by lumber companies. I hope over time if enough people work together, those lost forests will be replaced.

The planting a tree reward for virtual challenges is a fantastic idea. I might have to look into some of those! Trees are so good for your physical health when you spend a lot of time outdoors getting the fresh air. I just told my husband yesterday that when we build our house I really want a Weeping Willow tree in our yard because it is serene and beautiful.

It hurts my heart to see us cutting down so many trees to replace with concrete...I will look into the virtual challenge also.
