October 27 at 8:12 AMSometimes I will just carry the item(s) out without a bag, if that is doable. I also keep a nylon bag in my purse (it folds up really small) for those times that I forget my reuseable bags in the car.
-
October 27 at 8:07 AMI walk 3 to 5 times a week with 2 friends. That hour of walking and talking is good for the heart both physically and spiritually.
-
October 27 at 8:02 AMDonated and signed up to volunteer with Ellis County Homeless Coalition. Looking forward to finding out ways that I can make an impact.

October 19 at 6:50 PMKeeping a hefty recycle bin! Reusing containers.
-
October 18 at 7:11 PMI baked bread (successfully) for the first time ever! So glad I tried this - even though I’m clearly about a year behind everyone else who started baking bread during COVID!
-
October 13 at 9:04 AMI have purchased string bags to take to store to put produce in. I also carry reusable shopping bags. I have one that is nylon that folds up really small that I keep in my purse for the times I forget and leave the shopping bags in my car. I put leftovers in containers instead of plastic bags.

October 11 at 6:07 PMI really enjoyed walking and enjoying nature at the State Park. Also was fun walking with my grandsons and trying to find different bugs and plants.
-
October 11 at 6:04 PMOne of my Actions is to learn more about Constructive Communication. Funny timing because today I ended up using what I'd learned in a conversation with a neighbor!
-
October 11 at 6:02 PMNormally when we camp I bring individual throw-a-way plastic bottled waters. This time I filled multiple large thermoses and other re-usable containters with filtered water from home. Don't know exactly how many water bottles we did not use over the weekend but I would estimate at least 20!
-
October 8 at 12:35 PMI see a great need for equitable access and environmental justice in solar programs but did not find an organization that was working on this in Texas. I did donate to Grid Alternative but they mainly provide assistance in California.
