I thought that I would end this Ecochallenge with a quote about the time well spent. "Time is free, but it's priceless. You can't own it, but you can use it. You can't keep it, but you can spend it. Once you've lost it you can never get it back."

I found that Clackamas County has a place in Oregon City where I can recycle motor oil, bulky waste (mattresses & appliances), envelopes lined with bubble wrap, 

The Great Pacific Garbage Patch, aka Pacific Trash Vortex is something that is very disturbing to me.

I understand that climate change can alter rainfall, influence crop yields, affect our health, and cause changes to forests, create insect outbreaks, and produce droughts to name a few of the adverse effects. So our weather extremes create dangerous situations.

OMG! Only just a big left in this challenge! I'm really hoping our teammates step-it up. We ONLY have about a 3 point spread in between us and another group. Just a few more updates and we might have them! Muwaaahhhhh. For me, the competition has really pushed me to reach higher and do more, inlcuding homework at night and early morning hours....

If it's yellow let it mellow, if it's brown flush it down. Actually I have been doing a better job of turning the water off in between placing dishes on the drying rack and when shaving.

I could skip vacation, but that is no fun. I cancelled a flight that I had last weekend and ended up driving instead. It made my stay at the destination much shorter, but the journey was good.

Goodwill has challenged our coaching team and we never back down from a challenge. :)
