    One more week to go!
I have already lost a couple of pounds and found my new favorite fruit (Golden Kiwi)

Reading and challenging myself to learn something new and really focus on it has been really rewarding.
I've also found that I've been able to sleep better because of less screen time
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Simplicity Buy Nothing
How does it feel to be so intentional about not buying anything and instead looking for what you need in community places? What's easy? What's challenging? What's rewarding?

Honestly, It feels really good being able to say that I did not "waste" my money on something that I either did not need or did not end up using. My bank account is definitely thanking me for it.

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health Exercise Daily
How can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?

I started getting mom to join me in the mid-work-day stretching. It helps us get our blood flowing, get a little laugh in, and helps us become more productive when we return to working :)
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

How does/can practicing gratitude keep you centered and motivated to work for a better world?

Yesterday I attended my first "friendsgiving" dinner.
And I was on the receiving end of a very deep complement at the start of the night. It was a wonderful feeling, and I found myself doing the same to someone else later in the night, and then them towards someone else....
It is really a snowball effect of how expressing your gratitude towards someone or something and how it can make little things better.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health More Fruits and Veggies
How does eating more fruits and vegetables and less meat positively affect yourself, other people, and our planet?

Helps me by giving me natural energy, No cooking or utensils required so less waste of water to clean anything and no use of energy for cooking.
If I am energetic I can help others with any tasks they require help.
I especially am loving the Golden Kiwifruit as you can eat the whole things like an apple...including the outer skin :)
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Simplicity Core Values
What are your top 3-5 core values? How did you narrow it down to those as being your core values?

    1. Do everything with love
    2. Help whenever you are able to
    3. Smile even when times are hard/difficult to smile

When you do everything with Love, things that are difficult to do, become a little easier and give meaning to everything you do. It is also more rewarding and people feel your energy and appreciate it.
I picked these Values as how I would like to feel/and how I would like people to act towards me
