Before you started this challenge, did you think you were 'addicted' to sugar? How do you feel now?

I've been off refined sugar since 9/20, and I feel like I have more energy than before. I've been eating only food that is sweetened by Mother Earth.

Did you know that some sugar should not be considered vegan, since they use animal bones to process it (why does natural cane sugar look brown vs the "white stuff)?"

That is such a great question and you are so awesome for noticing those details! From my understanding white sugar, aka cane sugar, is the one that gets its white color from being processed through animal bones. Very interesting concept! I like to eat dates and fruit as a more natural vegan sugar.
