    Update: The eco challenge has had a lasting impact on my decisions, concerning plastic straws. Just testing to see if this works.

    Just an update; I know the eco challenge has been long gone, but I just wanted to say that I'm very, very glad that New Jersey has banned plastic straws (Unless you specifically ask for them :/). This is a key first step in saving our ecosystem!

    Overall, I took 5 minute showers for 18 out of the 21 days. I’m glad I was able to conserve so many gallons of water and benefit the planet. This was definitely challenging, but it was fun at the same time!

    The most a student can do theoretically is write to the mayor. I am not personally old enough to do much else, but I can accept that.
