Kelly Ziegenfuss 10/25/2021 8:39 AMI prefer to take group classes at the gym I go to for exercise. This allows me to spend time with people from my community. When the weather is nice, I enjoy going on walks in my neighborhood with friends. We especially love to walk along the lake path in the city. I definitely want to start checking out other popular paths in Chicago and the suburbs. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicityWhat did you notice in implementing this challenge? Was it hard to choose other activities over screen time? How did you decide to spend your time?
Kelly Ziegenfuss 10/22/2021 5:52 AMImplementing less screen time is difficult. With spending all day on the computer due to work, it is especially important to me to reduce screen time at night. Some things I love to do without my phone include walking my dog, going to a fitness class, and cooking dinner. I recently added time limits to specific apps and this has really helped me cut back on screen time. -
Kelly Ziegenfuss 10/13/2021 7:01 AMI had a fresh baguette that was about to be stale, so I tried making homemade croutons for the first time. All that is required is cubed bread coated in olive oil and your choice of seasoning baked for 15-20 minutes at 375. So easy and yummy! Definitely something I will do in the future to reduce food waste. -
