    This was really interesting - I had never considered my virtual water usage before. Living in a drought state, I always considered myself to be thrifty with my usage, but I see where I can make improvements.

      Unfortunately,  my roommates are mostly the source of our extra water use! :( So it is a gentle education process - not running the washer until you have a full load, don't leave the water running when you brush your teeth, that sort of thing.

      Thank you for sharing about your water usage! Do you have any indicators of what specifically is driving your water use? My husband and I are also water-conscious, and are always interested in ways we might be unconscious to a water use and can bring it into consciousness so we can change it.
