    It's interesting to see how being vegetarian and my shopping/recycling habits have lowered my overall water consumption. I'm working on turning my daughter vegetarian as well.

    Yes.  I was surprised to learn that my household footprint is slightly higher than average.

      Eye-opening!  That was the case for me 2 years ago.  Fortunately, I didn't have that many changes to make.  Once you start getting the lower electric bills the motivation to get them lower kicks in.  Keep up the great work!

      Absolutely!!  Although the 18" cheese pizza I sometimes order from the cafe, that  bakes while I shop, might not be on Michael Pollan's grocery list!
