Mutual funds are complex, as they have so many different stocks represented.  I had to really unpack and dig down into the specific aspects of the company's goals and strategies to make sure that they aligned with my values.  I think that I will need to make a few changes.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

I was very moved by the broader practice that allows everyone to address the harm caused, as well as the conversations that can offer affirmations to the offender, noting how they still have valuable qualities and can continue to contribute in meaningful ways.

Hi, all!  I hope that you are enjoying participating in the EcoChallenge.  It is a personal journey in many ways, as we explore behavioral change, but there is also value in seeing our collective impact.  It is really great to see how much our individual actions add up!

I love being in nature and find that gardening and taking reflective walks while noticing nuances in the changing seasons bring a lot of peace and joy.  Another favorite activity is Nia.  I have missed taking Nia classes, which allow for flowing movement to lovely, energetic music.  This reminds me that I could do Nia in my own home, with streaming content and some DVDs that have been gathering dust.

I am striving to align my life with my values.  This is requiring some boundary-setting and visioning exercises.  My recent meditations have been on gratitude and being really present in my senses, rather than reflecting on the day.
