Organizations have a responsibility to make sustainable business decisions. To understand how to improve sustainable practices, it’s important to start with understanding the current impact. I will share the Tradewater Business Carbon Calculator with my organization.

Use an Energy Meter
Do at Home
I will use an energy meter to monitor my energy use and identify opportunities to save power.

REFLECTION QUESTIONNature Go for a Daily WalkHow do you experience your neighborhood or city differently when walking instead of driving?
Taylor Nickel 10/19/2021 8:56 AMWalks with Riley here remind me to slow down and enjoy where we are, rather than rushing from one destination to the next. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Buy From a Farmers MarketWhat is one food choice that you make, or could make, that would do more good and less harm?
Taylor Nickel 10/12/2021 2:27 PMI get my eggs from a local farmer. Beyond the health and typical environmental benefits we think of from eating locally, the chickens consume a diet made in part of fruit/vegetable scraps, which helps cut down on food waste! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Exercise DailyHow can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?
Taylor Nickel 10/12/2021 2:05 PMI always look forward to my Sunday run. I typically meet a friend or two and it is a great way to spend time with friends AND get in nearly 60 minutes of exercise!
