Participant Feed

Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.

To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Whole Foods Diet
Michael Pollan states that “it is better to pay the grocer (our edit: or the farmer!) than the doctor.” What are your thoughts on this assertion?

It's better to heal the source than wait for things to get bad enough for someone else (the doctor) to fix it. By taking care of ourselves from the start, we are helping ourselves in the long run.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Simplicity Less Screen Time
What did you notice in implementing this challenge? Was it hard to choose other activities over screen time? How did you decide to spend your time?

It is not difficult to choose other activities over screen time once you learn things you enjoy doing--whether it's something active like a sport or working out or something passive like art or reading. I chose to spend my time reading and creating art, as well as spending quality time with friends.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Simplicity De-Clutter My Home
How can you prevent yourself from accumulating more things in the future?
