    A round-trip flight from New York City to Los Angeles emits just over 1.5 tons of CO2—per person. That’s a lot of carbon! What can you do to reduce the number of flights you take per year?

    Offset my flight from NRT to SFO - 10,228 miles (worth 1.03 tons of carbon dioxide or $10.30 in carbon offsets).

    This is the first time I've offset my flight and I've done base research to know that there are many opinions around the actual impact of offsetting. Anyways, my immediate conclusion is offsetting is better than not, but I need to do some more research to make a more educated decision on what the best actions are.
