October 22 at 6:13 AMModel responsible stewardship with children. I grew up knowing that we didn't throw paper away until it was completely used up - there was a scratch paper stack for spelling practice, notes, etc. I do the same in my home (although now we recycle the completely used up paper).

October 21 at 9:28 AMIt's easier to see the details when walking since there's more time to really look at things. And there's less risk of creating an accident if I take my eyes off the path ahead of me. It's also usually a lot less stressful - no traffic, other people aren't creating problems.

October 21 at 9:23 AMSpreading the word about wish-cycling is the most challenging part for me. We have single-stream recycling which is convenient, but I know most people don't understand that you can't just throw anything in there just because it's made of "plastic".
