    How can spending more time outdoors enhance your sense of place -- your deep knowledge of and appreciation for your surroundings?

    Spending more time outdoors makes me more cognisant of time. Nature does not appear instantly, but it is very easy to destroy it -- especially with human force.

    What did you learn about racial injustice in the documentary(ies) you watched? How does what you learned connect to your understanding of sustainability?

    I really enjoyed learning about how racial and gender equity intersect. It is important to remember that gender/race/class/etc are inherently intertwined with sustainability.

    How do your transportation choices affect your engagement in your community? Does your experience differ while walking, riding transit, biking, or driving?

    I feel like the more I bike the more it shows people in my community how easy it is to get around using other modes of transportation compared to driving.

    63% is from hydropower and 29% from natural gas-fired plant; they are moving to eliminate coal power by 2025, carbon-neutral by 2030, and complete elimination of fossil fuel electricity by 2045.

    People tend not to think about how much water they use, which adds up to significant amounts when spread across a population. Evaluating your water usage gives you perspective on where improvements in conservation can be made.
