DASNY's Sustainability Squad is about sharing our carbon hand-prints (the positive things we do) to live well with Nature's systems, improve our own health, strengthen our connections to neighbors and green our energy usage.     I listened to a podcast about generating meat from animal cells. I thought this might be an odd process, but the idea was to save on the slaughter of animals as the animal does not need to die in order to harvest a few cells to grow their meat/protein in a lab environment. Not sure how I feel about this at this time...?

    Value in the simple sense equates to dollars and windows that keep out the cold and in the heat save dollars. In my personal values, it is wise and in my best interest to utilize the most efficient products I can afford to save on my environmental footprint that inefficient windows can cause and this is in everyone's best interest.
