    Pollution is an example of how humans are affecting watersheds. There are many pollutants that humans create, one example is fertilizers. Fertilizer runoff gets into surface water causing certain stimulation growth in microorganisms. This then harms watershed health.

    My waste audit!! I found out that most of the garbage my family creates is paper towel or plastic packaging from food. We've started recycling and made a compost bin, so now the aluminum cans, paper, and food scraps like eggshells and apple cores are no longer being sent to the landfill.
