Action Track: Healing and Renewal

Effectively working for sustainability requires self care! I will commit to getting 30 more minute(s) of sleep each night to achieve at least 7 hours per night.

Action Track: Healing and Renewal
Core Values
Do at Home
We may find more meaning and joy in life when our actions are aligned with our personal values. I will determine what my top 3-5 core values are so that I can better align my actions with them.

Frances Yang 10/21/2021 10:39 AMA friend asked my opinion about his idea of getting a keurig coffee maker. I wasn't sure how he would receive my feedback, but I thought I would put it out there. I said great idea but the cups are not so good for the environment. Right away he said that he would research into a keurig with reusable cup for ground coffee. An environmental win! -
Frances Yang 10/15/2021 7:16 AMSeeing the accumulated impact of my actions on the left side of the screen reminds me that time passes whether we do something or nothing and that every little bit we do really adds over the long term. -

Frances Yang 10/08/2021 7:07 AMMy coworker and I have been comparing notes on our daily actions and even chat about ones that we did not sign up for. This campaign has definitely helped us be more aware of our actions and taking care of the environment. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Healing and RenewalWhat was it like to actively listen to someone? How did both people and the conversation(s) benefit from active listening?
Frances Yang 10/06/2021 8:01 AMActively listening takes a lot of pressure off when I am not listening and thinking about what I want to say at the same time and loving from being there wholeheartedly for the person. The reward comes from the person feeling heard and cared about. -
