REFLECTION QUESTIONWasteWhat do you do if you find yourself in the situation of needing a bag for items but don't have a reusable one with you or aren't allowed to use the one you brought? Carry things out in your hands? In a cart? Accept a disposable one? If you find yourself in this position often, what system could you put in place to try to create a successful habit of not using plastic bags?

REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodWhy do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our planet and other people?
Katie Walker 10/07/2021 7:14 AMEating more meat creates more demand for that meat - which has a bigger effect on our environment. If we all cut it out a day or a few days a week it would make a much bigger impact then we think! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Healing and RenewalWhat's your favorite activity(ies) in which you experience joy while being active and moving?
Katie Walker 10/07/2021 7:13 AMRight now I'm fairly limited to what I can do in terms of exercise - but I am still enjoying getting outside for lots of walks with Luna Bee! I am super grateful for the cooler weather - it's my fav time of year! -
Katie Walker 10/06/2021 11:43 AMThanks Helen for organizing the Eco-Challenge this year! We're off to a great start already :) -
Katie Walker 10/06/2021 11:42 AMThis year I have chosen more research-based challenges. I'm looking forward to learning more about trans/femme/non-binary experiences and watching a documentary on racial injustice - does anyone have any good suggestions? -
