REFLECTION QUESTIONWasteMaybe you've heard how good it is to switch from a single use coffee cup to a reusable one, but it's just hard to make the switch. What stands in your way of making this a habit? By identifying the challenges, you can begin to work through them to have better success in taking this action. Knowing the difference you are making, how does it make you feel?
Jill Sibbald 10/14/2021 12:02 PMI always use a re-usable mug for my coffee - and even if I purchase coffee and a new cup is given (because they are not allowing us to use our own mugs at this time), I save the cup I was given and reuse it throughout the week until the lid doesn't work anymore. Then it goes in the take-back even recycle pile to be recycled. (Plastic cup for an iced coffee).

REFLECTION QUESTIONWasteNew to composting? Be sure to check out the action resource links to learn tips and more about it. As you transition from throwing food away to composting, what do you notice about how much you are tossing? How will you use your compost once it is ready?
Jill Sibbald 10/14/2021 12:00 PMI don't use a compost pile in my yard, but I know that I can now put food scraps into my curbside yard debris recycle bin. So handy !
