What other practical actions can we each take to be the best possible stewards of our planet. How nature connectedness can transform your life and leadership. Why women are more disproportionately impacted by climate change than men. How the funds donated to TreeSisters are spent. Lastly, any answers to YOUR questions!

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food
If you were to only eat what is in season locally from now on, what would be the most difficult food item for you to give up? Why?

The most difficult thing for me to give up would be citrus fruits - especially oranges and red grapefruit.
They're refreshing and tasty and they just make a great snack. If I'm feeling a little bit run down or want something sweet and refreshing that's my go to choice. It would definitely be hard giving them up, but I guess I'll just stock up when they are in season and then freeze them

Started this challenge as a way to learn more about how to reduce my own impact on the environment and also how to live more sustainably. Today is the first day and it's gone well so far.
I don't know if I'll be able to complete every action every day, but I'm certainly going to try my best.
I hope everyone else has had  a great start to the ecochallenge!
