Tracy's actions
Action Track: Healing and Renewal
Healthy Sleep
Do at Home
Effectively working for sustainability requires self care! I will commit to getting 60 more minute(s) of sleep each night to achieve at least 7 hours per night.
Action Track: Healing and Renewal
Joyful Movement
Do at Home
I will spend 30 minutes doing an activity where I'm both moving my body and enjoying myself.
Action Track: Healing and Renewal
Happiness
Do at Home
I will write down three things every day that I am grateful for, or send one email every day thanking or praising someone.
Nature
Keep a Nature Journal
Do at Home
I will journal each day about my experiences in nature.
Nature
Forage for My Food
Do at Home
I will use the resources below to find where I can forage for my own food locally.
Nature
Support Local Pollinators
Do at Home
At least 30% of crops and 90% of flowering plants rely on pollinators to produce fruit. I will spend 30 minutes researching which plants support local native pollinators and plant some in my yard.
Action Track: Healing and Renewal
Engage In Active Listening
Do at Home
I will practice actively listening to a friend, family member, co-worker, acquaintance, or someone who I may disagree with in at least 3 conversations.
Waste
Reduce Single-Use Disposables
Do at Home
Historically, marginalized and low-income communities live closer to landfills, contributing to a multitude of health problems. I will find out how I can limit single-use items and do my best to limit the waste I generate. I will keep 4 container(s) out of the landfill each day.

Tracy Pierce 10/27/2021 8:15 AMEspecially today I appreciate the reminder to actually sit and contemplate what brings happiness and joy into my life and how can I help bring joy to others. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEnergyHave you noticed anything around NW Natural that we could improve on for energy savings? Are there new ways of communicating to employees about energy savings that you would like to suggest?
Tracy Pierce 10/21/2021 12:18 PMI have seen that individuals may send a hard copy through the inter office mail that could be scanned and emailed instead. This small act could lessen the amount of fuel used in transportation. -
Tracy Pierce 10/15/2021 7:38 AMMy daughter and I started video chat exercising together and it has been so fun! I do admit there are quite a few laughs and not as much serious exercise but it is wonderful -
Tracy Pierce 10/08/2021 8:10 AMI am coming into this group having experienced some life altering changes recently. New job, loss of a loved one, among other changes. Looking for ways to figure it all out and help maintain the sanity I so cherish. Thank you for the invite-
