Whitney's actions

I will avoid sending up to .69 lbs (.31 kg) of food waste to the landfill each day by composting my food or learning how to.

Whitney Peterson 10/28/2021 10:23 AMThere is always time that I can make to keep improving the life of my community, my self, and the earth. There are so many resources out there to learn from and it just takes prioritizing the time and effort to make small changes. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodDependable fresh food, better prices (cutting out carbon-heavy supply chain and grocery stores), supporting local farmers and building resilient communities are just a few benefits of local food systems. Which of these benefits (or others not listed here) inspires you the most?
Whitney Peterson 10/27/2021 10:23 AMSupporting local farmers and cutting the food delivery supply line are particularly inspiring for me. -
