Less meat and more produce is more sustainable for the community and the planet. Especially if the produce is locally grown which helps reduce the carbon footprint of processing and transporting.

Bees (as well as other pollinators) are LIFE! Without their hard work our food supply would dwindle and People and Humans around the globe would suffer and likely eventually perish. They are an intergal part of our ecosystem.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

Canning and pickling food is a great way to have delicious summer fruits and vegetables all year round. Just make sure to follow the canning and pickling guidelines from the USDA or another trusted source. What are some foods that you would like to preserve and enjoy later in the year?
