Access to affordable, nutritious food is a food justice issue. I will advocate for local and/or organic food options at work, on campus and/or in the spaces I frequent.
Nature
Spend Time Outside
Do at Home

Nature
Do Nature Activities

I will engage in nature-based activities alone, or with my friends or family, for 60 minute(s) each day. (This can be anything from going on a walk or hike, to noticing the leaves changing color, to reading a book with nature themes.)
Nature
Practice Gratitude for Earth
Do at Home
I will spend 30 minute(s) per day outside, practicing gratitude (prayer, meditation, journaling, etc.) for Earth and my natural surroundings.
Food
Plant an Herb Garden
Do at Home
I will plant an herb garden in my home, workplace, or dorm room.
Nature
Support Local Pollinators
Do at Home
At least 30% of crops and 90% of flowering plants rely on pollinators to produce fruit. I will spend 30 minutes researching which plants support local native pollinators and plant some in my yard.

Rose Jackson 10/27/2021 8:09 AMI love spending every chance I get outdoors on my off time from work and I also enjoy growing my own veggies. I'm going to be growing my own salads indoors this Winter just so I don't have to tread out into the frozen Tundra.
