Katrina Fischer 10/08/2021 9:36 AMI wanted to buy a carbon offset for my flight to Seattle, but I’ve never done that before and didn’t know how to do it responsibly. I did some googling and found this 2019 article from the Washington Post outlining what to look for in a credible program. It also directs you to two organizations that help you find projects to fund with your money. The first was a little difficult to navigate, but Gold Standard made it as easy as shopping online. I funded a clean water project in Cambodia where waterways are polluted by fashion and other manufacturing.
