    Closest is an irrigation canal behind my property... it can be affected by chemicals and overused if proper mulching isn't performed or overwatering due to runoff.

      I find choosing daily activities that fit my schedule a better reward, and for one time activities to keep adding new ones once I completed a prior one.

    There are many things that we have that are multi-purpose use that can be used in lieu of specific items. So creativity will go a long way in finding those other uses.
