Teresa Broadus 10/26/2021 12:54 AMThis year, my health challenge is going to be counting ZZZZZ's! -
Teresa Broadus 10/20/2021 8:57 AMToday I am volunteering to bake a cake for a 5 year old girl for her birthday. She is at the CHildren's Farm home and I hope it makes her day. -
Teresa Broadus 10/20/2021 8:55 AMMy walk was different today. Instead of listening to music or a podcast or a book, I decided to just be and listen to nature. Doing this is a kind of meditation to help sort out my thoughts, goals, reflections and things to do. It is nice to be surrounded by majestic scenery and to be able to get "lost" in the walk.-
Anupama Reddy 10/24/2021 8:17 AMOne of the good things during pandemic is to hear the birds chirp in the mornings... which i missed earlier due to the morning rush ..

Teresa Broadus 10/20/2021 8:53 AMMy meditation time started off with reflection on the previous day and what I wanted to accomplish by the end of the new day. It ended with stretching and gratefulness for another day. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Justice for the Whole Community Learn About Trans, Femme, and Nonbinary ExperiencesHow is equality for trans, femme, and nonbinary people important to a just and sustainable society?
Teresa Broadus 10/19/2021 2:05 AMEquality for trans people is important to a just and sustainable society as they are contributors to society and as "equal" as anyone else on the planet. Recently, I learned a close person to me is trans and the emotional battle that this person is going through is enough stress. She needs to be respected and treated the same as anyone else. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Healing and Renewal ForgivenessHow has the process of forgiving, or contemplating forgiveness, benefited you?
Teresa Broadus 10/19/2021 2:01 AMForgiveness is a freeing up of emotional space and allows me to move on to other things to think about!-
Anupama Reddy 10/20/2021 8:49 AMScientists have proven that forgiving someone put ones mind into a theta state.. so it is a win win

REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Healing and Renewal Nurture Self-CompassionHow can nurturing your Self-Compassion also nurture healthier relationships with others and the environment?
Teresa Broadus 10/18/2021 1:18 PMWHen you nurture your self-compassion it is more prevalent in one's life and like empathy -- thinking about what you want and needs translates easier to what others might want and need. -
Teresa Broadus 10/18/2021 12:21 AMLearning about causes of pollution and more eco-friendly alternatives is important for everyone. -
Teresa Broadus 10/17/2021 11:17 PMI live in the outskirts of Boise, Idaho, where we have miles of trails to hike in our back yard. Several of the trails connect into the subdivision. I started out behind my house, walked up to the water towers, found a few new hills and a new subdivision being built. It's fun to just follow the path.
