Watch the live Q & A with Clare DuBois, founder of Treesisters October 8th @ 5 pm (Pacific)
Join Devaa Haley Mitchell in conversation with Clare DuBois, founder of Treesisters for a live Q&A called For The Love of Trees! During the dialogue, they’ll be discussing some of these themes: Why planting trees is so fundamental to healing our planet. What other practical actions can we each take to be the best possible stewards of our planet. How nature connectedness can transform your life and leadership. Why women are more disproportionately impacted by climate change than men. How the funds donated to TreeSisters are spent. Lastly, any answers to YOUR questions!
Waste
Canceling Green Chef
My partner and I have had a subscription to Green Chef - receiving 3 delicious and nutritious meals a week for over a year. There is no food waste because we receive exactly what we need to make the meal (and we compost stems, peelings, etc.). However, the delivery comes in a cardboard box with 2 big cold packs and other packaging every week. We have been washing and recycling the little plastic bags the ingredients for each meal is packaged in...but we'd rather not be creating that much recyclable waste each week if we can help it.

Catherine Allard 10/08/2021 11:21 AMI joined the challenge because the more habits I change the more "different" I feel from most people I know (family and longtime friends). Convenience culture / "popular culture" / consumerism is so alluring and ubiquitous that it takes constant conscientious and discipline to not revert to what's...more convenient! I'm excited to have the support and fellowship of community during this challenge
