Paola's actions
Waste
Skip the Straw
Do at Home
Plastic bags and small plastic pieces like straws are most likely to get swept into our waterways. I will keep 1 plastic straw(s) out of the landfill and ocean each day by refusing straws or using my own glass/metal straw.
Health
More Fruits and Veggies
Do at Home
I will eat a heart healthy diet by adding 2 cup(s) of fruits and vegetables each day to achieve at least 4 cups per day.
Waste
Use a Reusable Mug
Do at Home
I will avoid sending 1 disposable cup(s) to the landfill each day by using a reusable mug.
Action Track: Healing and Renewal
Joyful Movement
Do at Home
I will spend 30 minutes doing an activity where I'm both moving my body and enjoying myself.
Action Track: Healing and Renewal
Practice Gratitude for Earth
Do at Home
I will spend 5 minute(s) per day outside, practicing gratitude (prayer, meditation, journaling, etc.) for Earth and my natural surroundings.
Nature
Explore My Area
I will explore at least one new hiking trail or nature walk in my area.

Paola Adams 10/08/2021 9:37 AMThe smallest actions often leave me feeling more fulfilled since these goals are easier to achieve more consistently. If you know me, you know I LOVE my morning Starbucks and now that I'm nearing my 30's, my afternoon tea! I have made it a point to wake up earlier to make myself coffee at home and keep tea bags in my bag. I save money and avoid disposable cups!-
Ann Snow 10/08/2021 11:26 AMWhen you can make a positive impact on both the environment AND your wallet, now that's a win-win! -
Kathy Collier 10/08/2021 9:48 AMI love this - and having recently gone to Starbucks I was given not one cup but two cups inside each other! I ended up reusing the second cup for an at home coffee experience.
